You have 168 hours this week

Six of themchange everything.

Fifty-six go to sleep. Forty-five go to your job. Sixty-one go to everything else that has to happen. I'm asking for six.

Most of the people I coach are here in Northern California. Plenty aren’t. If somebody sent you my way from out of state, we’ll do it by phone or video — all fifty states and Canada.

The trade

Why more hours stopped working.

The only way you get paid more is more hours.

That works until it doesn't. There's a ceiling on hours and most people I talk to already found theirs.

You picked up the extra shift. You said yes to the overtime. You did the side thing that pays fine and stops paying the day you stop showing up. Every one of those is the same trade — your hours for their money, one at a time, forever.

I've watched capable people work themselves flat and call it success. Longer hours aren't the answer. They were never going to be.

The coaching

Four decisions, in order.

Coaching isn't a pep talk.

It's a short list of decisions you've been putting off, made in the right order, with somebody who already made them. I train, I teach, and I stay on the phone when it gets hard. Most people don't need more information. They need somebody to tell them which thing to do next, and then check that they did it.

  • FirstYour numbers. What comes in, what goes out, and what a second income actually has to cover. Most people never wrote it down. It changes the plan every time.
  • SecondThe vehicle. Something you can run at night with no storefront, no inventory, no payroll. I'll show you the one I built and why. If something else fits you better, I'll say so.
  • ThirdThe first ten conversations. What to say, who to say it to, and what to do when somebody says no. This is where almost everyone quits. It's also the part that gets easy fastest.
  • FourthThe routine. Same hours, same days, every week. Most people go hard for three weeks and then stop. A small schedule you actually keep will beat a big one you abandon.
You don't need another job. You need something that keeps paying after you stop.

Who I coach

Three versions of the same person.

You're probably one of these.

  • The starterYou want a second income but not a second job. Nights and weekends, from the kitchen table, with no storefront and no pile of startup money.
  • The stallerYou already began something, got busy, and left it sitting for eight months. That's the most common story I hear. Restarting is three specific decisions, not a motivation problem.
  • The cappedYour job pays what it pays and more hours is the only lever left. You've earned the raise, you've taken the title, and the ceiling didn't move.
The vehicle

What most people end up building.

The business I built, up front.

Coaching without a vehicle is just conversation. Most people I work with end up building the same thing I did, so I'm not going to make you sit through a call to find out what it is.

It's a home business built on services people already pay for every month. Nothing to stock, nothing to ship, nothing to park. No storefront, no payroll, no employees. You can run it at night and on weekends, and the company handles billing, service, and support behind you.

How it works, what it costs, and how you get paid — I'll walk you through all of it on the call or at an overview night. That's a conversation, not a paragraph, and you should be able to ask questions while I'm talking.

The honest part

It's a real business. Real hours, consistent effort, and ongoing costs. Some people build something that changes their year. Some earn nothing. Some spend more than they make.

I won't pretend otherwise, and you should walk away from anybody who does. Ask me for the compensation plan before you commit to anything and I'll walk you through the whole thing.

How it goes

Twenty minutes, then your call.

No pressure, no mystery.

  • 20 minutesWe talk. Phone or video anywhere, coffee if you’re near me. You tell me where you are and what you're hoping for. I ask questions. Nobody signs anything.
  • ThenI show you the math. The full plan, the real costs, and how many hours a week it takes. Numbers, not a hype video.
  • AfterYou decide and I stay. If it's not a fit we shake hands. If it is, I coach you until it's running. You're in business for yourself, but never by yourself.
About Keri

Auburn born. Still here.

Thirty years of building things.

I've spent nearly three decades in business. Employed, self-employed, and every version in between. Most of what I know came from doing it wrong first, which is the part nobody puts on a slide.

I grew up in Auburn and I'm raising my daughter here. I'm not a voice on a webinar. I'm somebody you'll run into at the grocery store, and I'd like that to be a pleasant experience for both of us.

What I care about is the part most business advice skips. Anybody can tell you to work harder. I'd rather help you build something that doesn't need you in it fourteen hours a day, because the whole point was more time, not less.

I know the pattern holds because I keep running it. The last time was a youth volleyball club I started here in Auburn — an idea and a rented gym, now full seasons with real families in the building. Start small, stay consistent, don't quit in month three. It works the same whether you're filling a gym or building an income.
